My first A1C in Feb 2012 was 11.4. In August 2012 it was 5.4; in Feb. 2013 4.7; In Apr. 2013 5.3.

5.8 today in the clinic, first time in the 5's since I was pregnant 23 years ago. Far easier with the Dexcom system to help out though.

Yes, dobe, it's worth it since I feel so awful when my BG is either high or low, and forget about getting a good night's sleep. I think that feeling well (most of the time!) is the real reward for being in the 5 Club.

Thanks, Barbara. Good luck tomorrow!

Trudy, that's just great. All the effort and all the testing and all the determination to toe the line... it really is worth it when you get a great result like that, isn't it?

Fantastic Trudy, well done! My endo app't. is tomorrow, we'll see how I did with holidays/cruise.

Update: I made it through the holidays with another A1C of 5.8. I'm once more very pleased! Now to get through the rest of winter...

My Endo called yesterday with my latest results, I managed a 5.8. That's up a little from 5.5 but I'm Ok with it.

I recently start with a pump and expected it to be higher because my Doc set the targets on my pump higher than what I had been shooting for when I was on MDI.

Way to go Phishery!.....Does anybody else get nervous after a great result, and a little looney about whether or not one can maintain it? I sure do. Sigh.....
