Hey all :) I'm Lucy, 22, and I've had T1 diabetes for about 14 1/2 years. I've suffered with eating disorders and ED-DMT1 ('diabulimia') and now volunteer for DWED (Diabetics With Eating Disorders). I've been a member of TuDiabetes for awhile, but have been out of the loop for some time. I have three boys, two w/ T1 diabetes. I am a fb addict and can't wait to get start advocating again and becoming more involved in the TuDiabetes community!

Hi my TuD friends! I have a weird type of diabetes. Most just refer to it as t1, but it is akin to cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, but not for sure, and I have an immune response that causes immune modulating t1 diabetes (different from autoimmune). I have very little of my own immune system. I'm 25, will have my 10 year diaversary next month! Pumping for 9 years and on a CGMs for almost a year.

Hey everyone I recently joined Tudiabetes and would like to add people from here if you guys are as well looking. I'll come back later searching the group, I still have a lot of exploring to do. It'd be nice to get some defense/help once in awhile from something I'd post instead of friends just not knowing what I talk about or just tell me I don't know what I'm doing when they themselves have no clue. It's frustrating not knowing any diabetics with T1.
