Has anyone tried New Twitter?  I was just talking to my friend last night (@MegGuiseppi) and she said she hates it, and can't seem to go back to "old" Twitter.

Mine page hasn't updated yet so I can't tell.
Would like to try it.

Sunny, I'd like to get you comfortable with Twitter, because of World Diabetes Day Nov 14. We want to have as many @TuDiabetes members as possible tweeting as much as they can that day. Manny will be telling us the hashtags to use, and will be asking us to retweet things. Our goal is diabetes awareness, and we'd like to be in the Trending Topics (I know, if Justin Beiber does something that day, good luck). I'm going to follow you next time I'm on!
oh good. btw, I just requested to follow you.
I thouight I already was a member here. Oh well I just wanted to say that I'm just trying to figure out twitter and REALLY don't need to upgrade til I figure out what I already got right now! LOL1 Like You Sunny I really don't feel that comfortable on it. Could it be my spelling issues? YEP and also the fact I have more to say than it allows? YEP! I was talking to Missy on it yesterday and both of us started DMing each other 1/2 way through sentences! LOL!
Marie B, tell your friend this: Want to leave the #NewTwitter preview? Select the down arrow by your @twittername, & choose "Leave preview", on the top right corner of your screen.
I was not one of the chosen few, but it looks great to me! Thanks for sharing the news Marie!
It suddenly appeared today, as an option for me... at the very top of the screen "Want to try the new twitter?" kind of a thing...
Ooh -thanks for the tip. :)
Bummer. Still not a chosen one. :(
Hey Lorraine I haven't been chosen either for it. Kinda a good thing for me! I'm still trying to figure out the old twitter. LOL!
What New Twitter looks like:

More detailed lists, and such, on the right side:

When I reply to someone, it pops up a mini window showing me the last thing they said that I am replying to. You can also see this by pressing the little arrow that may appear within their comment, if they replied to ME instead. These comments have a mini conversation bubble inside them, at the very end.

Also, when I click on someone's profile, a synopsis appears on the right... To see their full profile, you have to click on "see their full profile" next to their twitter name, within the synopsis:

I actually kind of like that a.) The @mentions and the retweets menu is sooooo much smoother than it used to be. I used to click on that, and sometimes wait and wait, or it would give me some "Twitter is having problems" screen. Now I don't, anymore. I also like that I can see where I am being listed, all over the place, without problems. I want to know where I am being listed, just in case I show up in some list I don't approve of... Which, here's a trick I learned: To get yourself off of a list you don't approve of, block the person who made the list, and unblock them again. This takes you off of any lists they may have made. (Or you can keep em blocked if you don't like them. lol)
