TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

I've been on an ice cream kick lately. I stick to my diet really well, but I've gotten on this sherbet kick lately and I need to get over it. What's your downfall and how do you deal with it? I always feel so guilty afterwards that I work out even if I've already worked out that day. I think that's a bit extreme, but it still doesn't stop me from doing it.

My weakness is wine and chocolate. Fortunately, the BG effect of the 2 kind of work together for me. Hey kpatter, are those gophers?

coffee cake and donuts, not too often but I do indulge once in awhile (I work in a cube, coffee cake and donuts brought in a lot) usually with a low cause I tend to over bolus, and then all the guilt of putting my body through all that goes with highs and lows :(

Beer. I try to have nuts with it to counter the effects.

I have been an ice cream fanatic lately. I want it, I need it, I just have to get it. Unfortunately, the BG don't do too well with it. You would think that would stop me. It doesn't. I do settle down after 3 to 4 hours (BG I mean). This isn't healthy. I have a problem.

Hi, my name is Mike. I am an icecreamaholic.

Chocolates (any food with it!), native rice cakes from my home country and icecreams (double dutch and rocky road to be exact)
