I just become aware of a great resource all about diabetes, called the Hormone Health Network, and wanted to let you know that I've uploaded several of their factsheets relating to type 2 diabetes to our "Type 2" resources button on the homepage. Take a look and tell me what you think of them!
I'd love to know if you think they're useful, and if you have suggestions for other type 2-related topics you would like to see covered on our resources page, that are not currently there.
Thanks for your input!

Pretty basic. If you are newly diagnosed and have nowhere else to turn, it might be useful. At least the dietary section mentions carbs as something to be conscious of. They seem to use the exchange system which I never used as it seemed awkward and unecessarily complicated. It's on a level with the brochures I was handed at diagnosis 5+ years ago and which I outgrew in about 2 weeks. I didn't begin to get a handle on my D until I came here where Real Live Diabetics share experiences.
I'll read around in it a little more and post again. I'm very glad you are looking for such things, though Emily, even if it isn't useful to me.......
Thanks so much for taking the time and giving feedback, Judith! It's invaluable :)
These resources pages were created before I started working here, and although I've changed them a bit, there's still some fairly old content in there (as you noticed!). An update is on my to-do list :)
Emily, I always refer people to bloodsugar101
