Tmana provided some great resources about diabetes terms and acronyms in another forum, and now I'm on a mission to find more!

I've found several so far including diabetes educator and diabetes.org.

I also found really great articles from Diabetic Care Services about diabetes and the effects on the elderly as well as breast cancer and diabetes.

What other resources are out there that would be helpful to someone like me?

I use
the ADA (american diabetes association)
JDRF (www.JDRF.com)
Children with diabetes (www.childrenwithdiabetes.com)

I have never really looked for support with my husbands Type 2. I know a Dr. recommended Dr. Swarchbeien which I read and love. However her diet is kinda hard to follow, but when we did eat out of her cookbook I lost 20 lbs. Some of the ingredients are hard to find. (http://www.schwarzbeinprinciple.com/)
