TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

Hi. Did anyone take part in last month's Diabetes UK walk in the London's Regents' Park?

I am going to start taking walks in the historical Crystal Palace park with my nordic walking poles(subject to weather).

Nordic walking poles are excellent for overall exercise of the body.

Any discerning London member is most welcome to join me.

I enclose pictures of my walks on the Great Wall in Beijing, Chartwell House In Kent and finally Crystal Palace Park.

Best regards.

Hi Rakesh,

I was really interested to read your message, partly because I have just joined TuDiabetes and the UK group so am still finding my way around(!), and partly because I am currently doing some research for a social networking site related to chronic disease called 3four50.com - posted on the site are some photos of people using walking poles in central London!

The site was originally set up in association with Oxford University, and is looking to build a genuinely interactive and supportive network of people with all manner of experience and expertise from all over the world. Again, you can view and post photos, videos, blogs and stories, so it'd be great if you could find the time to take a look, contribute and give feedback.

With best wishes Rakesh,

Debra.
