So does anyone know when the next get together will be for a meetup?  Am just curious and would love to meet others and perhaps learn through your experiences with diabetes (I'm new to diabetes...)

Me too! This "great lakes group" is such a wide area that it is hard to narrow down on just the Chicago area people.

Hi Elizabeth! I am from the San Francisco area in California and am coming to visit Chicago on wednesday. I was hoping to meet up with some fellow Type-1s maybe. Will you be in the area?

Looking forward to it,
Sincerely,
Heather

I would love to get together with some locals! We should try to make it happen.
Sure, lets all get together. I live in the western suberbs.
Hi guys!

Check out this event. We meet once a month in Chicago. Would love to have you come. Next meeting is September 1st.

Hi Abbey. How "young" is young? I'm looking for an adult type 1 group and I live in the Western suburbs---Naperville. I am 49....OLD.

Anyone interested in getting together, getting a group together to meet for a meal, laughing together, supporting, and learning from one another?
I am just moving into the South loop. Is there any group that is meeting!?
I live in Chicago and would love to meet up !
