Comment by Florian Menninger Jr on January 4, 2012 at 9:08am Hello Northeast Diabetes Members,
If you are within driving distance of Woburn, MA you should plan to come to the MA Pumpers Support Group meeting to hear a very special guest speaker, meet some new people with diabetes, have some fun, laugh out loud, and go to lunch with the bunch after the meeting. You won't be disappointed. I will be there and I hope to C U there.
Here is the official announcement of the meeting.
MA Pumpers monthly insulin-pumpers support group meeting will be held on Saturday Jan. 14th from 9:30 AM til noon at Baldwin Park 1 in Woburn (directions below).
If you've not yet made it to any of our meetings this is the one you don't want to miss! We are a small, informal, and welcoming group. All pumpers, potential pumpers and support people are welcome.
Guest speaker this month is Laura Menninger, Diabetes Comedienne The LIVabetes Glucose Goddess (www,LIVabetes.com).To borrow a little bit of info directly from Laura herself, Laura's performances are rich in humor and practical wisdom. She offers comic relief to what is otherwise a very serious disease.
As a person with type 1 diabetes, she describes herself as a "stand-with" rather than "stand-up" comedienne as her presentations are built on her own personal transformational journey "from DIabetes to LIVabetes".
Please contact me with any questions or to RSVP. I'd appreciate RSVPs from anyone who is coming this month as I want to be sure we have enough room. (dgm555@verizon.net)
Hope to see you there!
