Look forward to seeing you at the Meet-Up at the Cloud Seven Cafe tomorrow.
Calling all Diabetics within traveling range of Portland OR. Come share, network and make new friends at the Oregon Meet-Up tomorrow Wednesday September 29th from 11 am until 1 pm at the Cloud Seven Cafe 901 NW 10th AVE. http://www.cloudsevencafe.com at Jamison Park in downtown Portland in the Pearl District. Stay as little or as long as you like. Even five minutes of your time with us will be extremely valuable. Some times Diabetes and all the challenges can feel very lonely and by meeting others who share the same day in and day out challenges it helps to foster a sense of hope and community. The street car is running again and stops a block and a half from the cafe. If anyone needs any assistance feel free to call or email me rickyjoe@comcast.net 503-473-2687
Portlanders---We had so much fun at our Cloud Seven meetup 9/29/10!! Different types and treatments and all together in our shared battle with The D. Good food, good Gab, Good Folks! We were thinking to get together again at some little cafe downtown on Saturday, December 11th, maybe about 2-4PM or so---close to the holidays, but you could pop in for coffee and a break from your shopping!......Sorry, my camera was broken, but pix next time!!.....Judith.....Best to all.
Oh my gosh, I learned so much! I couldn't remember everything. I need a refresher! lol
I'll definitely be at the Saturday December 11 Meet-Up. I may bring diabetic holiday treats. And will definitely have the camera with me not in the darn car.
I'm off to get my seventh guide dog on Sunday. I fly from Portland to Columbus OH and stay and train with my guide for two weeks. I'll be back on Oct. 15th. I'll be checking in y'all though. :o)
Hi everyone!  I was raised and still work in Lake Oswego, but currently live just outside of Oregon City.  :)

Hi Judith, can you email me?
Oh I have been bad and notten gotten to a meet up yet... Anyone going to the next expo?
Jerry---Ricky Joe and I are planning 3 for early December---the 3rd, 8th and 10th---at different places and times of day so more folks have a chance to get there. I'll post info on the events page and here and in the Northwest group----stay tuned. Would love to see you!
