I haven't even seen anything on it this year. Are we talking about the Seattle, or Portland one? Can you post more details for us? Thanks!
I just got the card in the mail, this is the one in Portland at the expo center on 2/20.

Here is a link i found with all the dates:

Looks like the one in Seattle is May 1st.
Jerry, my friend--I know Jason and Virgil will be there. Do get in touch with them. I had to leave for Minnesota suddenly to care for my mother and I'll be in MN for a couple of months. I'm so sorry to miss meeting you again. But let us persevere! When I get back we can plan a meet-up around your schedule specifically so we won't miss again!!!.....I look forward to reading your notes about the Expo!......Be well.....Judith
Well we will keep trying :) Good luck over there, dress warm !
I also got a card from the American Diabetes Association. It is at The Oregon Convention Center not the Expo center, different places. Saturday Feb 20, 2010 9:00am to 4:00pm. The link is www.diabetes.org/oregonexpo. I'm trying to find out what vendors will be there..
ahhh good catch, thanks!
Seattle !!! Date: Saturday, May 1, 2010 , Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Washington State Convention & Trade Center
Address: 800 Convention Place, Seattle, WA 98101, United States
I went last year - it was so crowded you couldn't get up to the displays and forget any samples of food. I won't go again.
Anita, my friend: could you give us some pointers as to how to find each other at such events? I'm our ambassador and I want to explore every avenue of us connecting---even if it is 2 or 3 at a time! I've never been to one. Are there areas where we might set a time and find each other if we had an informal sign, for instance? We can't afford a booth yet, but last summer, for instance, Andreina did up a beautiful design that I printed out to poster size and placed at our picnic site for all to see easily. I'm quite willing to wear such a thing around my neck if that helps us find each other!!!. I'm stuck out of town this year, but next year I will be there, come hell or high water, as they say!

Let me know what you think. Connections are important for us all!!!.....Judith
I'm going to try to see if I can get some one to go with me. I'd sincerely love to meet just for coffee or tea with any Northwest list members. I have a very nice community area that is private that I can use where I live in downtown Portland (The Pearl District). So if anyone would like to have a meet up please I'd love to host. I feel so lonely at times. I'm especially feeling it now because I'm in a battle with Care Oregon over Byetta for me. They keep denying it even though the doctor says I need it. You can e-mail me at rickyjoe@comcast.net if you'd like to get together.

Hugs,

Ricky Joe Cook

Love the Pearl District, Ricky Joe. Lots of great spots for coffee or lunch. Will look forward to that when I get home.....Saw your other note---check with any of the Administration folks. Manny has been having problems with Ning. There's a discussion somewhere about current Tech Issues.....Be well!
If Someone could tell me about this diabetes expo everyone keeps talking about i would appreciate it....I am interested in learning more about it.
