Hi all, I want to say thanks to Judith for sharing this low carb product with me. Joseph's Flax Oat Bran and Whole Wheat Pita Bread http://www.josephsbakery.com If you haven't tried these I highly recommend them. They are really tasty! Thank You Judith.

Is there any meetup place here in Seattle area for TuD members to meet in person?? Does somebody want to organize the same? If so, I would be interested to join and get to meet you all in person. Cheers, Sai.

Hey Justin, If I was in town I would give you some for sure. I am up in Spokane for another week. But, keep my name and if you need some in the future ping me anytime. I don't use Lantus myself but I do have some :) Ken

Hey there... anyone in the Portland area that can hook me up with some Lantus and Novolog until Monday? I'll trade for a bootle or 2 of Ultra One Touch test strips. Due to insurance snafus, I'm screwed until Monday and I'll be out tomorrow...

Vegan Diabetic -- am I the only Vegan Diabetic in the Portland, Oregon area ? I do not know any and cannot find any. In the local vegan community there is no support for diabetics, and in the diabetic community here there is no support for vegans. For example, the vegan bakeries sell stuff which is totally loaded in sugar, and the local diabetic bakery sells stuff loaded with eggs and dairy. .... I am thinking of starting a vegan diabetic business....please send me your Vegan diabetic recipes .... I hope to mass produce them and sell them at farmers markets and expos ... feel free to add me as a friend here, and on facebok etc..

Those in the greater Portland/Vancouver area would any of you be interested in a meet up with me on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, Wednesday or Thursday I can work out the time either of those days to adjust to your schedule. Possibly meet in downtown Portland in the Pearl at Sisters Coffee Shop at NW 13th & Marshall. There is a street car stop near by. Feel free to Email me rickyjoe@comcast.net

I heard about that on the news... 2 dead and one in critical condition, but the gunman is dead...

Will do Judith, I do hope to get down your way. A friend just moved to the Portland area and wants me to come down. If I do, I'll definitely reach out for a pedicure party and make time in my travel plans. I was not a dancer but I've always had a hard time finding shoes that fit well and my feet have often hurt. A good pedi is heaven. I wish they would massage longer, that is the part I need.

Be sure to post a picture if you gt a group to go.

Hopefully we will meet soon.

Wow, Judith, if it wasn't a 3 hour drive for me to come from Seattle, I'd be there in a heartbeat! LOL
Sounds like a great time to practice self care, our feet are important! and to be treated to wine and appetizers is extra nice. Go for it folks, and take a group photo and share with us.

I know of some good pedicure places here in Seattle but none that are working with the restaurant next door. I envy you this opportunity.

I looked over the agenda for the Expo. Not sure what I can really learn. However, being social with others here is certainly of great benefit to all. If there is a tu meeting I'm going!
