TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

I know this is an odd request, but I am totally desperate!

My job has offered me a position that requires that I move. I currently have two cats that I tremendously and dearly love! Unfortunately, due to the nature of my new position, they cannot move with me. I have been trying to find foster care or adoption for them from my coworkers, neighbors, and friends. I cannot find them a home!

I will be moving within the next month and I need to find foster care or adoption for them by that time. I have had these cats since they were tiny kittens, and they even made the cross-country trip from California with me in the back of my Civic. It makes me quite sad to part with them, but I am hopeful that I can find them a good home.

If you are interested in the foster care option, I will pay for all of their needs (food, litter, doctor, grooming, etc) and give you a stipend as well (amount negotiable). If your apartment complex needs to charge you a pet deposit, I can pay for that as well. Basically, I really need help and I am willing to do whatever necessary to make that happen!

I am also very open to discuss adoption options with you if that is what fits best with your family.

Check out the pictures… aren’t they adorable? :)

I am REALLY hoping you are interested!!! If not, please forward to anyone else who might be!!

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!

She doesn't say she quit on them. She just says that she can't move with them for reasons known to herself. Besides, this was posted a couple of years ago with no updates. She may very well have found someone who could take them in.

Well, maybe we should see about getting this post deleted since it isn't relevant anymore. And like Lauren points out -- it is from 2007.

Wow! I haven't logged on here in a while. Thank you to those of you on here who were supportive to my situation. Here is the update:
I was able to find a last minute home for them to be fostered in locally. I say fostered because I hoped to get them back the minute my situation changed. And in May, IT DID!

My cats are now back at home with me and the three of us are very happy.

Thanks again to all of you who expressed care and concern!
