Any Atlanta-area diabetics that meet regularly or semi-regularly?

I don't live in Atlanta but I am looking for an Atlanta area job. I live in NC currently. I will be visiting Atlanta again soon.

Oh, what kind of work do you do? Are you looking in any specific areas?

I am looking for work in email marketing. Have already had an interview in Atlanta in March but I didn't get it. Coming back for another visit in 2 weeks hopefully interviewing with a company in the midtown area.

Good luck! Midtown is a pretty cool area. Traffic everywhere sucks though, so be prepared for that!

We live in Atlanta, and I have a three year old diabetic son who's been T1D since he was one. The only groups that I know of that meet regularly are parents of kids with type 1. Some type 1 adults join on a regular basis, because the information is great for everyone (sick day care, pump experiences, food, etc) but it's mostly focused on kids. However, that's all I know because that's all I get exposed to as well. The adult type 1's that I know focus on the local activities - Camp Kudzu, Team Type 1, the walk, JDRF Gala, etc. The local chapter of JDRF would know much better - http://www.jdrfgeorgia.org/
