Hi folks! I'm a Seattle native snowbirding in Peoria, AZ. I need a good endo near Sun City/Peoria/Glendale. I'm an Insulin Dependent Type 2 and use a Minimed insulin pump, so I'd love to find an endo with some knowledge of pumping!

My internal doc in Seattle is pretty clueless about the pump. Unfortunately, my glucose levels are tweaking out due to some recent med changes because of insurance.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks Jerry. I think I missed their last one due to a business trip. They don't meet very often I'm afraid.

Try http://www.jdrfdsw.org/ and look for the Adult Type 1 network. They have some local events.

I really want to do something with other T1 diabetics near Phoenix, AZ without having to be a health nut. Anyone have any ideas? I don't mind walking but it seems there's more structured around running or cycling.

Hi everyone,
Hi ,
I'm organizing a Support Group/meetup for people with type one diabetes in the Tucson area, Jan 17, 7-9pm. I've had type one diabetes since 1975, and I'm really wanting to connect in person with some other people with diabetes here in Tucson. Please let me know if you're interested, and if you are, let me know if there's a better time/date to meet. Thanks!
best,
Lucia Maya

Hi all, I have been new here for about a month. I am living in north Nevada. I moved from California 10 years ago. I was dx'ed at 45 years old for T2, now 57 yo and on oral meds. Thanks for letting me in and will learn something from you all.
