Hi All!
I'm a type 1 from Ohio, but my Granddad who has Type 2 lives in Phoenix and is in desperate need of a good endo. He has been managed by his GP for years now, but has developed some complications because, as it turns out, his GP is not as qualified as he needs to be to manage his diabetes. So, it's time to find an endo for my Gramps! Any recommendations? Thanks so much in advance!

If you need contact info or address I will provide.
Just let me know.

Hi Carolyn! I'd love some more info about him, and an address would be great, too! What do you specifically like about him? Do they do A1C/other lab work right in the office or do you have to go out to get labs done? Are there other diabetes management staff in the same office (i.e. a dietitian or CDE?) My granddad has had pretty relaxed diabetes care so far and needs someone who will be more aggressive with treatment than what he was receiving before. Any additional info you could give me would be great. Thank you so much for responding!

I really like Dr Cook in the Mayo Clinic.
He's really good and his Nurse Practitioners are even better!
It's based in NE Scottsdale, but it's worth the drive.
13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, Ariz.
Number is 800-446-2279
Hope you find someone that works for your GrandDad!
