Cool beans. I'm down in Queen Creek. Nice to see someone else local.
I've been type 2 for almost 10 years, but only in the last year did I start taking insulin, so I'm still learning - even at my age :-)

I am in Chandler and been a type 2 diabetic since 10/08 and just started on insulin in May (still learning also). I take Humalog and Lantus and also still taking Metformin..........First started seeing my family Dr. and that was a disaster then found the people at Mayo clinic big help and getting better.........

OK well im not in the phoenix area but im in Arizona i am also not diabetic but do very much love somebody that is i am hoping he can come here from Oregon when he gets out of jail have a question have any in this group moved from somewhere else to this area after being diagnosed and if so how well did u handle that transition hoping to get that answered as i know i have been here 8 months and i have days were i almost pass out inside with the ac on because the kind of heat is so different and i don't want to possible harm my hun more than help him by getting him released to here if he wont do well with the heat if he wont do well with the heat i will just move back to Washington/ Oregon and let him be released to me up there so im hoping to get an answer to that as it might decide whether i move again or not thank :) oh and im on the north western edge of Arizona almost 30 miles from the Nevada border but up in the corner
