I have only been diagnosed for about four months. I think I have had diabetes for almost two years though.

Welcome Jolynn. I am a type II living in the Vegas area. You are the first person who has id'd as a Vegas person since I joined. How long since you were diagnosed?

Does anyone know a good endo in the Las Vegas area? I have been going to my internist for the last 5 years.

Hi folks! I'm a Seattle native snowbirding in Peoria, AZ. I need a good endo near Sun City/Peoria/Glendale. I'm an Insulin Dependent Type 2 and use a Minimed insulin pump, so I'd love to find an endo with some knowledge of pumping!

My internal doc in Seattle is pretty clueless about the pump. Unfortunately, my glucose levels are tweaking out due to some recent med changes because of insurance.

Thanks for any help!

Thanks Jerry. I think I missed their last one due to a business trip. They don't meet very often I'm afraid.

Try http://www.jdrfdsw.org/ and look for the Adult Type 1 network. They have some local events.

I really want to do something with other T1 diabetics near Phoenix, AZ without having to be a health nut. Anyone have any ideas? I don't mind walking but it seems there's more structured around running or cycling.
