Hi! I use this software! First, I had a One Touch Ultra that I used it with and then I've upgraded to the smart which allows me to take more advantage of the software. The software downloads your bg readings and automatically groups them into time categories based on what you set as general preferences such as before breakfast, after breakfast, before lunch, etc. I find that it doesn't always work out quite right with a simple glucose meter, because as a college student, I don't have a steady schedule, but my UltraSmart lets me categorize the bg reading as I take it. The software also allows you to enter insulin units, pills or other medications if you are a Type 2, exercise, carb intake, and doctor's visits including HbA1c and cholesterol tests.

I test my blood glucose a lot because my bg often goes a little crazy due to stress and/or exercise and I find that the software doesn't allows reflect how my day is going i.e. I can't see all the tests for one day in one line because the software "piles up" the tests in rows reflecting which time category they fit in. However, they offer data summaries in a number of ways including pie charts, trend maps, and lists (there are many more). It's nice, but I suggest that if you use it, get the One Touch UltraSmart so that you can use the software to its full advantage.

I have it and use it all the time. My Dr. loves it because I can download my meter to it and then fax the charts and log to him so easy. We did this on a weekly basis when he was playing around with my insulin. I have the Ulta Smart meter and use it for as much as I can but my Dr. gave me a Trac 3 and wants me to use it. It does alot of what my meter does so I use the meter for BG and the Trac 3 for everything else....
