I don't know about you, but I'm not perfect. (Before the floodgates open, I don't need that confirmed, thanks.) Sometimes I fall off the wagon and indulge in something naughty, e.g., my semiannual ice cream cone. Sometimes it's even deliberate! :D Of course, I try to bolus for it or make whatever other adjustment is called for . . .

Anyway, here is today's question: what's your favorite treat? What is the goody (or goodies) that you occasionally just HAVE to sample? To get things started, I'll list mine in no particular order:

Good French Champagne
Good Irish Whiskey
The aforementioned ice cream
Haribo Gummi Bears
Cake, either chocolate or carrot
Potatoes Au Gratin (I make the world's finest)
*Hot Chocolate made from scratch

(*This only qualifies as a semi-luxury since I make it with whole milk and Stevia)

The one that stands out is the fabulous chocolate croissant from the fancy bakery across the street from my endo's office. Kinda disappointed that I only see him twice a year now, I get one when I leave!

A small scoop of ice cream made at our local farm... on a sugar cone, gotta have the sugar cone!

Home made pasta with really good sauce, maybe once a year (though it's been longer than that).

A slice of good crusty bread with loads of butter.

Hi David.

Ice cream in my morning coffee (well, it helps with acid reflux!)
Dove Dark Chocolate Promises
Tinkyada Brown Rice Pasta (not often)
Daura gluten-free beer (Chips? Never, well hardly ever)
Once in a while: Udi Blueberry Muffin or Udi slice of bread, high carb, the price of g-f

Oh man....keeping the list "short". I'll say (and the order depends on the mood/bg)....
1) a glass of Pinot Grigio
2) fries (the best being a good Poutine)
3) a slice of pizza, loaded with cheese(small)
4) Doritos with melted cheese
5) a buttered chunk of baguette with some good Brie
6) seafood pie

mne? LOVE BEARCLAWS!!! OK I'm guilty about 2x a year with them Forgive me

I LOVE Godiva 72% dark chocolate.
Mint choc. chip ice cream.
White Zinfandel (Sutter Home- preferred)
I'll go w/ pup's slice of good crusty bread, forget the butter.
That does it for me.

my treat is carrot cake...ice cream...
