Slow motion chat - maybe we should rename the group, I love it!

Marie yeah, I've participated in a couple of the chats, wish we had more.

60F here, I just went out to get my hair cut and all in a short-sleeved polo. Daffodils are a good 6", snowdrops are open, trees are budding. It's Feb, right?!?!

"Slow motion chat" works better for me because I'm such a horrible speller. By the time I've fixed my spelling errors real chat has moved on.

Thanks Barbara. Translating it all. I am to eat 3 fruits a day? One egg a day,(7 a week?) but unfortunately am only allowed Max of 3 a week! It goes on like that! I am already on a cut back diet, so I'll just cut back a bit more and see how it goes. Thanks for the support.

I really like this group too, "slow motion chat room" yeah. I am wondering when we are going to have another live chat on TuDiabetes, has anyone else here participated in one of our prior ones?

You're very welcome - it was a selfish move ;) I like getting to know people outside that which brings us together.

Agree with Kate, this group was a great idea. Sometimes you need to just hang out with friends and talk about the weather. It's almost like a slow motion chat room. Thanks Pup

Hey pup - I just wanted to thank you for creating this group. Sometimes I just want to go and read something non-polarizing and I love the community and friendliness of this group. It was much needed and is much appreciated, my friend!

Albert, doesn't sound like the life-changing visit you were hoping for ;( The diet sounds like the typical ADA (Amer. Diabetes Assoc.) recommendations - high carb, low fat, take a crapload of insulin and don't worry too much about high BG! Glad you know better. I can't believe they're making you wait to have your leg looked at, that stinks.

Oh boy Kate, sounds great! Not too long and you'll be throwing some in a grinder for Elias ;) I splurged, which I don't do often. We have a fabulous little mexican place almost around the corner with home made food. One tamale (geez it was sooooo good), a carne taco and a chicken one.

Mary, Well I have one but now the house in Granada is so small (we moved last year!)I cannot get it in the house at all! It's in the yard! I must try!
Barbara, Not sure what it is they didn't discuss it. Just presented it. I'll have to translate it tomorrow! But for sure I am not yet worthy of a nurse! The other funny thing was. I have always been told my pulse in both feet is low. My legs are all freckled up and the left is red though not that hot to the touch, although it feels on fire to me! They said the pulse was fine! Which is ???
Just looked at the diet briefly, :3 fruit in morning, (Unlikely!) Lots of fish and little bit of meat weekly. Funny Diet! That's it mainly! I do feel a bit cheated actually!
