jrtpup- Sounds like you had a wonderful time visiting the sights of Philly. I heard that the American Jewish History Museum was a terrific place to visit. Unfortunately, it is too much walking for me to do. Maybe one day I will be able to go there.

Had a fabulous day yesterday! My chosen sister is in Phila from IN for a conference and had yesterday off. Of course I slept late - first time in like forever - so didn't get there till noon. Reading Terminal Market for lunch at the good Jewish deli, and I have enough leftovers for 2 meals LOL. Coffee, then the American Jewish History Museum. The museum is amazing, really well done and very emotional for both of us.

South St for a little browsing and people watching, then coffee again :) The big oriental market for me to get meat for the dogs super cheaply, and a fabulous Vietnamese restaurant we just happened upon for a wonderful dinner. BG tended towards the low end until I had coffee with a crapload of whipped cream :) Came down again, then underbolused for dinner and hit the 150s. Great day, great company, great exhaustion LOL

The only thing the deer DON'T destroy is most of my herbs. This year we have a new garden, inside our post/rail fencing in back. Smaller but at least we'll get it!
