muleman, a diet sheet? High carb? I can't believe they won't let you see someone for your leg!

marie, missed an eye doc app't today and they have nothing till April. Follow-up for the cataract surgeries as well as my regular check. My brain is leaking again!

@trudy wintry mix hard on their little paws!
@doris I've still choked up w/ gratitude - Kathy was one of my 1st friends here

@muleman bike machine, or perhaps some weight lifting?

Comment by Trudy on February 21, 2012 at 9:21am

@ Marie: I'm fine not counting the cabin fever, shared by my husband and dogs. We have a wintery mix (mess) out there today.

@ muleman: would a bicycle machine help with your exercise? It's easy on the legs and feet, and some of them give arm and shoulder exercise as well. Glad that your appointment went as well as it did...

Thanks Mary. 9 hours after leaving home this morning we are back from seeing the Endo's. Yes I had two all to myself! I was not thrilled with their performance, but came away with a diet sheet! Another appointment in 6 months, that had to be changed instantly as No one works during August and September is already fully booked, my 6 months takes me to October? haha!
I have put on 13 kilos since the accident in 2008. Told I must walk more. I asked "How?" as the necrosis in my ankle prevented a lot of walking. They just shrugged??
I asked if I could see a nurse for my ankle/foot/leg? and was told maybe after the 6month check up next (8 months), So I can be glad I have seen someone but feel a bit short changed ! Thanks for asking.

Oops! Hi BadMoon, I meant Yellowstone. The last time we drove through Yellowstone my husband took a photo of the herd (from a safe distance!), which btw is on my Profile Page. Saw a Grizzly bear walking along next to us on the road, but we were too busy looking to get a photo.

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
