Thanks to Pup,Doris D Trudy Marie B. For taking the time to respond to my message. The happy couple are indeed very happy and living in a small town a very short drive from Malaga Uni, so javi, is home in minutes! The wedding bordered on chaos, but then Soanish wedding generally do as they have no Best Man to organize anything so it's all done piece meal. But I got her a Rolls Royce for the day. Will post some pics shortly. Again thanks to those who took their eyes off of themselves and shared this with me. Pretty much the sale folks each time. I appreciate you and we are better for knowing you! XXX

We're featured, so what's on our minds? I notice that posting is down since mid-winter, so does that mean we're all doing fun stuff? I've been gardening, so now I'm ready to sit back and enjoy the flowers and hopefully, some herbs. Not to mention Ohio's fine tomatoes. Also enjoying my gluten-free beer in this hot, spring weather. Cheers!

What a lovely quilt, each block a work of art. Congratulations to you and your guild.

no it was machine quilted by Cheryl Winslow, absolutely the most stunning quilting I've ever seen. I get her to quilt most of my quilts, I just hand over the top and backing, and say "do your magic". The only part I worked on was the sashing, and getting the committee organized. It took a year to design and make it. We got our most talented applique masters to do the blocks, they are all hand done, needle turn appliques, all botanically correct, original drawings by one of our members who's a retired Biology teacher and artist. It appraised at almost $3,000. one of the judges yesterday she'd never in her life seen such a stunning raffle quilt.
