This research has applications for both type 1 and type 2 diabetics! Dr. Eli Lewis on Islet Transplantation Dr. Lewis will be giving a talk on his research with islet transplantation and the drug, AAT. After several months, the AAT is withheld from the body and the islets continue function with it. Human trials are being set for the end of 2010. For more information on this research click here.…
