Having a good friend with type I diabetes is so wonderful. My best friend was diagnosed with type I shortly after her first pregnancy. I would never wish this condition on anyone, ever, but we both certainly are thankful to have one another with whom we can commiserate, talk through issues, compare notes, and laugh about it all sometimes, too! We don’t get together very often but it sure is nice to know that other person understands when no one else you know really does. Never thought of spreading out our gear for a photo op. though. HA!
