The smaller ones are coming, but they have pushed the date out a million times. I've seen the prototype, but there is no release date. Was going to be spring of 2010, then fall of 2010, then some time 2011. They're not saying. Don't expect them to be a LOT smaller though. They're slightly slimmer in thickness, but about the same length and width. A little flatter. They still need to hold up to 200 units of insulin and several watch batteries.

I have looked at alot of pictures online, and it seems like the "pod" itself is HUGE. Does anybody know whether or not the new smaller pod will be released any time soon? I mean, i hate having tubes, but that looked as if it was some kind of tumor!! its huge!

The Inset 30 is the long gray/blue one to the right of the Omnipod, in front of the purple Cleo.

Some of it. Many companies will give you product samples if you ask for them. I wanted to know what infusion sets were out there to decide what I liked. I've used all the ones pictured.
