Awareness for Sudden Onset, DKA Type 1 Diabetes.
Please don't forget to click the like on the page to also help spread awareness, thanks everyone!.

Too many injections and finger pricks for such a young child.

Today more and more children 5 years of age and under are getting type 1 diabetes, non genetic. This is about 1.5 weeks worth of what we use for our son David's management of type 1 diabetes since he was 3.5 years old, David is now 7 years old. He gets about 3 times this amount per month plus or minus a percentage, good days vs. bad days.

We need a Cure?

JDRF says insulin is not a cure - Does the Artificial Pancreas still use insulin for management?. Don't answer that! - It is a great and awesome technology but not a cure for sure. (insulin and devices are not a cure, they are just bandaids).

We need AWARENESS and a CURE for all of our Children and everyone else having to deal with this horific disease called Type 1 Diabetes before it is too late!. at Norris Houk by Paticia Kodet created 1988.
