2Dogs replied to annecy's discussion 'CIRCUITRY problem?' in the group OmniPod Users

I was part of the DCCT study (standard group) back in the late 80's that eventually proved that "intensive insulin therapy" i.e. pump or multiple injections was the way to go for better health and control. After the study was complete a follow up study was started to monitor the health of those in the study for the rest of their lives. I am in the Northwestern University arm of the EDIC study

Hi 2Dogs,

My name is James, I'm a researcher with a design innovation company here in Chicago called IA Collaborative (http://iacollaborative.com/). We are currently working on a study about diabetes care—everything we learn will help us design innovative ways to make the diabetes management experience easier.

We noticed that you use continuous glucose monitoring and an insulin pump and would love to speak with you. You would receive $200 for your valuable time and opinions. We are hoping to schedule this session by next Tuesday, September 3.

If you're interested in participating or learning more, please shoot me an e-mail at jschonzeit@iacollaborative.com.

Thank you!
James
