I'm finally back home!

I've been in the big city for over a year and a half, helping my daughter with my new grandbaby and just helping where I could. Now I'm back with a few extra pounds so hopefully as the weather warms up, I'll get these 15 extra pounds off.Fortunately, my blood sugar has been pretty good. I just had my blood draw so hopefully by next week I'll know what my A1c is. I've had a lot of stress so, we'll see. "If it were me, I'd try lowering my metformin to 1 tablet a day (on the days I exercise)and see how I do. I lost over 100lbs myself and was able to go from the 1000 mg daily to just 500 now."

"hahaha Hana. I also enjoy the low carb lifestyle which along with 2 x500mg meformin per day which keeps my blood sugar also in the 5% range and dropped my cholesterol to healthy levels again. woot!"

My name is Dianna and I live in a small rural town in eastern Washington State. After I was dxd in 2009, I got serious and lost over 100lbs. Being insulin resistant and dealing with chronic pain makes keeping the weight off a bit challenging. But I'm doing ok:)

I need more spoons!

What a day! I swear I didn't accomplish a thing. Oh wait.. I made a big pot of turkey soup which turned out wonderfully. I'm stuffed. I however made a huge mistake.



My mom passed away September of this year. Two days ago I decided to clean out and sort the closet I had stuffed with my mom's odds and ends ranging from yarns, embroidery threads and craft notions.
