Hi Aimee, I just checked out your photography and it's really good! In regards to selling on Etsy...I will have my store up and running again in March. With diabetes being new in my life I have not had the time to deal with lot's of business. I'm just starting to work again..still nervous to work in the studio on my own. I just have to monitor my bg's on a regular basis and listen to my body. It feels good thought to get back to my regular routine.

Love the photography!! I do wedding photography when I am not teaching and have a love of photojournalism. I really wish I had a professional site, only an account on smugmug now.

*Welcome Aimee*
I like to give warm welcomes to new members because this was also done for me. Plus I like to welcome those who has diabetes when they were pregnant, because this is how I was introduced to this lovely thing called diabetes :~)

I know what you mean about your diabetes is mild. Mine has been very cooperative ever since I got past the ketoacidosis nightmare. So blessed!

Your Tu Diabetes Box

Hi everyone! I am very excited to find this Ning group! They found my diabetes when I was pregnant with my son in 2002... I was on insulin shots during the pregnancy and then switched to Metformin after he was born and my body calmed down. I have been very lucky to be in very tight control since then, but certainly have my moments. Also continue to work on losing weight, which is always a challenge. Looking forward to getting to know you!

P.S. Anyone Twitter? http://twitter.com/Greeblemonkey

P.P.S. Here is a slideshow of some of my photography!
