I want to make connections with others touched by Diabetes, especially Type 1. It helps me to have some perspective on my own life to know there are others facing some of the same issues as I am, on a daily basis, living with diabetes.

I am a birth doula and a full time nursing student.

I was at a silpada jewelry party this evening and noticed in the catalog, and on the order form, that they have partnered with JDRF to raise funds by donating part of the sales of their polishing cloths. So I do way to much thinking. I know it... I've thought about it a lot:)
Recently I've had plenty of time to think about myself, my sense of self, my strengths, weaknesses, and issues with vulnerability.
