Found tudiabetes.com through a blog I read every so often, and i'm so glad i joined. Looking forward to actually talking to people with diabetes, besides my lame brother and the only other person in my high school who doesn't really care to share with me about their diabetes endeavors.

So all that eating well, and writing down everything flew right out the window this morning when I had a gajillion munchkin donuts at the Thanksgiving Day Parade. haha well I think my numbers were pretty good, the highest was 214, but I just feel all DISCOMBOBULATED haha.

Eh, whatever I've been out of it today...first my reading glasses I forget...and my meter! Last night really messed me up...I hope it doesn't happen again for awhile. After this block, (my school has… Continue

I'm sorry...I just meant that it seems to be such a struggle for all of us...maybe just some of us, but it is absolutely a struggle for me. I just wanted you to know you are not alone in your frustration.
I am always trying to add humor, but the smile in my voice cannot be heard when I write!

Yes you should definately pack extra stuff! I found this little bag that had come with one of my old blood sugar testers... I packed a few insets in there, a couple cartridges, batteries, and some insulin... I leave it in my lunch kit & take it to work with me just incase something happens. I don't take it EVERYWHERE but definately work.

oh yeah, at the moment I'm writing down everything I eat for the dietician. it sucks 'cause I'm getting kind of obsessive now I can look over it and see how much unhealthy stuff I'm eating. but yeah, I'm sure it'll be normal soon.
I'm currently 5.6. sounds wonderful but I'm dropping like a stone. blahh. lol. I've already been low twice today, but hey. the UK guidelines for getting a pump are ridiculous. you can't get one unless MDI has "failed". That means either reccurring DKA or seizures/passing out from hypos, none of which I've had. so I'm stuck on MDI for now.
