Hey everyone!I have noticed that my blood pressure is higher when I take me meds for my adhd. I take adderall . I am very concerned. When I check it on my meds im 130- 140. When im off of them i range between 110- 120. I am freaking out! It need my meds to focus but I would so rather not take them to protect my kidneys! I have only been type one for three years and have a 6.4 a1c. I am hoping that if I stop my meds I will not have to worry about high blood pressure???See More

Hey everyone, i am new to this site and would love to make friends with young adults who have type one diabetes. i would love some words of wisdom from my girls out there who have it and how they deal with it. i love my family, friends, and FASHION!!!. i love going to the beach i am still kind of new to all of this and would love to here how everyone deals with it and any words of wisdom of those who came before me. hopefully one day there will be a cure. cheers. :)

i am having one of those i hate diabetes day!!! i have been crying on and off and am getting really mad at my blood sugars from always being high. I do the best i can to count carbs but its so annoing to bring out my little book to look up everything excat!!! ughhhhhhh! i hate this! my mom and i keep fighting and i just want it to go away. I am so tired of thinking about bg when i go to bed in the middle of the night and when i wake up. it just puts a frown on my day! i would do anything for a… Continue

This can be so draining on your well being.
My friend is a T1 from 2 years old, and is now 49.
Whenever he gets 'worked up' about things, it takes him at least a week or two to settle down calmly again.
Try to 'tame the beast within!
