About the endocrinologist, I visited one and he said to me that I have more experience than him, been a diabetic since an infant! It was like "What you need, you know what to do, here is your medicines and don't come back!" lol

I been thinking about visiting new places, may be I will stop by Alabama and we can hang out! ;)

Actually I was Dx at the age of a year and a half. Am happy that you do the same thing, thats you never let diabetes limit you, me neither I eat and do what ever I want, Living my life! :o). My A1C near yours 8.9 this last May. Before the pump my A1C was like 11 or so, with the pump it is now in the 8th range.
Am happy for you that you don't have any complications, keep up the good work! ;o)

Hello,
I was Dx in 1983, It seams that we have had the diabetes for nearly the same amount of years and we are in a close age as well. How are you doing? Hope you don't have any complications from having diabetes?

Catch you Later
