i just sat down one night and started typing about how i feel with be diabetic and this is what came out...(sorry for typos or bad grammer)...

Oh , so pleased you did !! Quite well , since I just got something of my chest ...I had asked the local weekly paper to add the letter I received from our City Father's re World Diabetes Day to be posted plus more info , such as CDA's website, 90 years of insulin , etc. etc. I did not read it and asked the person in charge today ...she said , there was a note on the groceries flyer about that .. copied and pasted here my response to the writer:
" I was aware of the " little promo" in Askew's Flyer ...I asked George to please add that , as he had done previously around " World Diabetes Day" upon my request .
I am disappointed not to see the letter from the our City's leaders posted. And wonder, what one can do differently to create awareness for World Diabetes Day 2012 and beyond , as more people will be diagnosed with diabetes , even in our Community ?

- Amanda ...the pump news is exciting !! Understandable you feel nervous ...it would be for me going on Levemir and Apidra shots ...a totally new experience .
Kelly , a Canadian lady on Tu is going on the pump tomorrow and she started a discussion about her having second thoughts. The comments are interesting and possibly would be of value to you as well .
I recall 2001 and was ready to give up a month or so later...I think , that people like you and other Tu members have much more knowledge to make an easy transition by participating on Tu . My Nurse would say : OK , look at going back to needles 14 days from now , put that date on your calender ...and lo and behold NEVER pulled the infusion set out in frustration :) . Sure-T's infusion sets 8 mm , Apidra Insulin are the 2 big plusses for me .
I had my A1C done today and am sooo curious .
Had a low , while Lab was taking blood this am ...Lab called Dr. , Dr. left me a voice mail message with her cell number ...will call her next ( I was at the SPCA ) ...better go back on the CGMS to night ...took 2 days off ! ...Thanks for your trust in me ...will try my darnest !!
