not for me. i love one touch. i've tried other meters and haven't cared for them much. i'll probably be a one touch "lifer" no matter what color the strips are or if coding is involved or not.

Hi Amanda, thanks for your comment. Very true about surrounding yourself with happy people. I should be alright when my eldest daughter comes back from her studies. She is the clown of the family.

Amanda,

I know we just started our friendship but I hope you can help me with this, please. I think you'll appreciate this because its based on culinary.

I’m involved in creating a new social community called ROS and I need your help in building membership. And as in most social networks there is no charge to join, it’s completely free. I very much look forward to sharing with you here at TuDiabetes, so I would like to share this with you as well.

This new community utilizes culinary in an attempt to generate physical opportunities for us where we live. The site has quite a bit of content on it now as it pertains to wine, recipes, mixology, coupons, etc. – we just need membership.

Now, because our site is powered by NING, the same engine powering TuDiabetes….when you sign up if you use the same e-mail and password as you have on TuDiabetes , then your profile photo will transfer in. In addition, any friends that you have in TuDiabetes that are members of ROS will automatically become your friends in ROS…pretty cool.

In any case; thank you for considering joining me and I really look forward to seeing you at ROS, it always nice to see you here.

If you place your cursor on the bottom of the ROS badge below, the word join will light up, if you click it – it will take you to ROS.

Thank you again,
Allen.

PS: I’ve wanted to ask you to join me at ROS but I wasn’t quite sure how to do that, because it’s important to me not to offend you in anyway be sending you this. This is a site that I am involved with and I think it would be a lot of fun to build it with you, therefore I wanted to share it with you.
