Greetings froma insulin user, clinically dead, in Boston, with a BG of 880 and with my second chance, have been on a journey of being ROLE MODEL to over 40.000 diabetics and as a 91 computer rookie have found a way to mentor to those members from areas with little diabetes info.I ask them"WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR AREA TO IMPROVE YOUR DIABETES PREVENTION & AWARENESS PROGRAM? also WHAT DO YOU KNOW? As a photographer, could you find people who are famous diabetics and use them as POSITIVE examples who was in control of their diabetes and not let diabetes control their life.Start up a support group in your area with the cooperation of your local LIONS CLUB They have an excellent diabetes awareness program. I have been in LIONISM since 1972. Could you call 5 DIABETICS and with yourself, join me, in silence, JULY 30 INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY, to give THANKS FOR INSULIN, giving hundreds of millions of US a chance to live a healthy and productive lives TODAY. AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES,that day to support www.restorethebantinghomestead.com This flower was picked because its meaning is 'ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE' our motto and mission.
