Gil DePaula said… Hi Andrew,
I majored in Computer Engineering, so I learned about electronics and software. Unfortunately, I lack mechanical engineering knowledge. To have an all-around engineering education to prepare you for diabetes (or any medical) technology development, I recommend that you major in BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING.
Here's something I found on colleges in your area:

You must be good in math and sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) !!!
Cheers,
Gil

Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
