GNU Gluco Control

GNU Gluco Control is free and open-source software inteneded for (mainly) type 1 diabetics....

I started working on this software in 2005 (I am not creator of projects), and it's been a long way to first release with a lot of changes to make it more user friendly and feature rich...

We had one succesful public release in September 2008 and next one is on the way...

I will try to add more blog posts here (this is my first blog ever, so have a little patience)...

Hi Andy! I read that you are getting a pump! Any more updates on that? Which pumps are available in Slovenia? I'm just in the process of arranging my next pump in Hungary. There are three pumps available here: Animas, Minimed, and Accu-chek Spirit. I was just interested what the situation is there-- since we are neighbors!

Andy-
I hope your dreams of flying aren't crushed by "the big D". Don't give up yet- just about 7 years ago, the U.S. didn't allow diabetics to fly, either. Now I can get into any plane I'm qualified to fly, including a jet, (if I was rich!) and go off on my own across the sky. Hopefully, it will soon be that way where you are! The world has to wake up to the fact that diabetes is everywhere, and only growing every day. With good control, you should be able to live your dream- corny, I know, but it's true!
Keep the faith,

Brian
