Oh I am very much so. My youngest at PSU interned at the US Army Research Labs in MD in their Material Science Div. That is his field. Brian works for J&J and loves it. But I also wanted you to know if you do a search in groups, there is a Byetta User forum. It may give you some additional information on how well people like this treatment. Recently there is alot of questionable info coming out on Byetta, but my Dr still believes in it, so I'll continue. Had problems with Avandia and got switched to the Byetta. Feel free to ask any questions.

Angela, As an afterthought, one thing not covered in the survey .... It asked if I took oral meds and/or insulin and I anwered both questions but I also use Byetta which does not fall in either category ..... just FYI ...... don't know if that gets included in your survey for Type 2's

You are very much welcome Angela. I love the friends I have met here. I have actually met 2 in my travels to Ohio and DE. Will be meeting with more this Saturday in Philadelphia for World Diabetes Day. I started a group on here for PA Diabetics and we want to meet. I understand the necessity for your research. My son is a Pharmacologist conducting research for his PhD. Started in Pharmacy but moved to Pharm/Tox. Also have a son at Penn State in Engineering who is currently helping a post Doc student with research for a side job. I will encourage everyone I know to take your survey. Good luck as you continue your studies. Are you a PharmD graduate ?
