- Most of the people who were on that 3 week cruise were also like us - having saved up for years for this Once in a Lifetime trip. Average age about 72. What we wanted to do was travel on our own (with that trailer we camped in) but again, it was my lack of health that slowed us down and forced us to 'settle' for a crui$e. I tell people not to wait until they retire to travel. You just can't guarantee your body will allow that much activity in its dotage.

- Almost forgot - they even featured MOI in with the 'featured members' and I had no idea why until I recognized some of the other recently featured folks were also on the donors list during that fundraising drive a weeker2 ago. So here I am just sitting around being innocent, minding my own business and SWISH - I'm featured every which way. Nobody asked my permission or nuthin... just stole my stuff and stuck it in their display. The nerve!

- The Powers of tuD - they lurk about spying on us all... our pictures, blogs, profiles and then they sneak off to feature anything we leave here. It's a good thing I'm not paranoid, but I've always been a bit terrified of becoming paranoid some day. My very first day here, they 'stole' a picture of my kitty and there she was up on the featured board -flashing in front of me every few minutes... ironic, since her name is Flash. Soon after that I posted a couple pix I took up north and ZOOM, there's an eagle photo on the featured board with my nick under it. Even my very first/only 'Virgin Blog' got featured before anyone had a chance to read it, I think. They are very crafty those admins.
