"i have been on symlin for at least a year. symlin is NOT insulin. it does NOT AFFECT your novalog. if you carb count, your ratio will not change. symlin will affect hunger & fullness so you may want less to eat but that is the only way it will…"

"Yes, you should end up taking about half of the rapid-acting insulin you would otherwise need. If you started two weeks ago you are probably at 45mcg by now, is that right?"

I went on sym about 2 weeks ago and I still take the same amount of novalog.. isnt sym supposed to make you take less novalog??
