Hello Fellow Diabetics,

My name is Angie. I am a 26 year old Type 1 diabetic using an insulin pump to manage my diabetes. (Though lately it has been difficult to keep my levels under control. Trying different things to see if it helps, what else can you do?) I am looking into a different model than the Accu-check Spirit I am currently using. Any suggestions and experiences with other models would be more than welcomed!

I am starting Graduate school this fall to study Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit Organizations. My goal is to operate an organization to assist individuals with disabilities. This will be a long and difficult task but a good challenge at the same time.

I love the colors black and purple (most my wardrobe consists of these colors). As well as horror movies, shoes/boots, make-up, cartoons, Diet Mountain Dew (I miss Mountain Dew Slurpees), sushi, curry, books of all sorts, learning, and many other things that are escaping my thoughts currently.

I look forward to meeting other people who live with diabetes and receiving the advise and knowledge that can only be discovered living with this condition. I am sure that are I have experiences that can help others as well.
