New but not new to diabetes

My late husband had type 1 brittle diabetes. He passed away in December last year. Well a few months ago my sugar started going up i always checked it occasionally because i was hypoglycemic then when it hit the 200's and higher i talked to my neurologist since i was going into her the next day and she said im type 2 now. I was originally to support my husband who was a type one diabetic, and due to a car accident on 5/28/11, he came home January 18 2012 and i was caring for him along with a 24 hour home health care nurse.i was the one taking care of his diabetes and was learning all i could. He passed away on December 9th 2012. Partly from his diabetes. I was recently told i had type 2 diabetes but controlling it well with diet.

Newly diagnoised Type 2

I had joined this site a couple years ago to support my husband and learn how to help him after his car accident. Well last month i was diagnoised a type 2 diabetic but since i started a new diet my sugars went from 200s to 90s to 120. I can not exercise much due to my physical health but i am losing weight quick. This is all new to me all i know about diabeteis is type 1 brittle that my husband was i need help learning how to control this for me and wondering if it will go away.

I feel so overwhelmed lately. I love my time with Lee but its so hard because a lot of days he gets really upset or cries when i leave, today was better i know they upped the prozac a few days ago so hoping it helps and keeps helping. I just want him home with me but the insurance is giving us the run around with everything. I found a house that would work great only needs ramps and a bathroom redone. But no they want to build, in teh SPRING! His discharge date is Oct. 28th exactly 5 months… Continue
