"This is what I also now experience and what I've been told is the cause and how to mitigate the problem. I also began pumping 2004, couple of years ago I began to became insulin resistance and have higher insulin needs, that is when I began…"
"Try a different box of sets (new lot/serial number). Same with the reservoir. This happened to me and saying things like "we" are always responsible for unexplained lows is just mean. Once an entire Lot of sets ended up being recalled and…"

"Many have found this to happen. The reason is the body sends extra fluid to surround what the body interprets your new set as a "new injury" so the insulin is not absorbed well until the body "settles down" and accepts the new…"

Hello Ann, I am pleased that you, Kathy and Sue were there. I was not expecting the three of you, and it was a pleasant surprise!! I enjoyed the T1 meet-up very much!! I think all of us did. Jennifer could not be there because her daughter was sick and had a fever. It is my understanding that there are usually only 4 people who attend thos meetings (Scott, Dean, Mike and Jennifer). Having 13 people there on Sunday was unusual, even though 2 were non D and 2 were T2D.
It would be nice to go back there again in a few years, but it is very expensive. thanks fo sending me a message, and being my friend!!!
