Thanks for the tip about the kid's group on meetup... sadly, my husband and I are the ones who started that one. We've been trying to get the word out through our pediatric endocrinology center, social workers, etc, but it's slow going. We did find one other kid nearby that is the same age as my sone though. Not a total loss. :)

Hi Anngelia! My name is Patti Lopez and I'm the Ambassador for the Austin Region. I will be deciding in the next two weeks if I will be able to finance a trip to Dallas to meet with Melissa.

My goal is to see first hand how you two organise for the groups to meet and other ideals to take back to Austin to show how this and such is doing well and how we should have a sister ideal as well in Austin.

Or if you two are having something special like a meet up let me know when the days are so that I can get some vacation days to be able to travel and stay overnight as well to maybe have a get together over dinner.

Congradulations on being the new Ambassador and I hope to meet you real soon and take some awesome pics with you and Melissa.

So take care, and stay strong. Patti
