- My dad is 81 and has diabetes for the past 30 years. He started on oral meds but for past 15 years or so is on shots, novarapid and levemir. He also takes a whole array of orals meds e.g. Lyrica, Zoton, Aldactone, Burinex, Waffrin and some more. He is having a lot of difficulty with neurology pain in his back, neck & shoulder, he has a patch and takes Ixprim up to 4 times a day but it's not hitting it.
