Hello world
Well after three months of ups and downs, rashes and other stuff the results are in. My A1C is 6.3 - still a ways to go but much better then 9.7.
Other values also on the mend.
I am patting myself on the back and ready to go for more.
I can do this!!

Hello world
Well i just got back from my first business trip since i was diagnosed. Things went well.
Peanut butter is defintely the ultimate food. And the packaged heat and eat LaBriute stuff isnt that bad either. It was easy to stay in control and I didnt have any lows which scares me much more then anything else.
Going to the MD tuesday of next week to get my results from the blood I gave for my evaluation after the first three months. I am shooting for an

Hello world!
Well next week I am taking my first trip on business. After the sucess of our family trip to Vegas, I am going back to travelling for work. I am taking more food with then usuall I think, I am Jewish and Observant so Koser is a must.
Anyone who sees this who has any suggestions would also be most welcome.

Hello world,
Well as mentioned before, while on Metformin broke out in a rash and the MD changed my meds to Glyburide. Well I like this new drug alot!
My numbers are much much better, even below 110 in the AM, a big deal for me. Spent a week in Vegas with the family and numbers were good all week long.
Before we left spoke with the Blue Shield nurse person who will help me with my diabetes with once a month phone calls like clinic visits. Pretty cool idea and from an insu

Good evening world!
Well the MD decided that since my rash has not worsened, I guess it has improved somewhat even though it still really itches at times, to change my meds from metformin to glyburide.
Reading the sheet that you get from Walgreens is informative but I guess it can be scary as well. It is said that diabetes is about control, well I am spending alot of time talking to my doctor, getting presecriptions and updating my medic alert info, how is that for contr

I'm currently thinking about moving to Israel, but I don't know if I can because I'm not sure I can afford my supplies. How much does humalog insulin cost? What about pump supplies? Any idea?
