Im 19 yrs old.
Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 9.
College Sophmore at Long Beach City College.
I now have a year together with my girlfriend. I love her very muuch.
Funny, outgoing, and love to have a laugh.
Wanted to join the Army as Airborne Infantry, but, got rejected as a result of being diabetic.
any questions or just want to talk, go ahead and leave a comment.

So, its been a little over 9 years since i was diagnosed, ive been on this site for about a month, and i though id let everyone know the story of how i was diagnosed.
So the wierd thing is that out of all the symptoms a person can notice to know that they have Diabetes, the only one that showed up with me was the constant urination. Long Beach Unified School District elementary school had a yearly tradition where they would take all their 5th grade classes to a camp in the woods… Continue

i passed the test the first time. I missed 7 points, although i dont knkow whats the liimit of points i can miss. I thought i was 8, but somebody told me 15. but then i heard a friend failed at 9, so, what the hell? random numbers and what not. Point is I passed the test and i have my license.
That means, i dont have to get ridest to and from school. I dont have to go on the bus to and from school or to different places. I dont have to rely on my dad to… Continue

Well, im currently in my second semester at Long Beach City College, graduated High School Class of 2008. HOOAH. My military career was over from the beginning. haha I got rejected 2 years ago on Christmas Eve, so i consider it an early christmas gift. hahaha I got rejected from the Regular Army, but i also tried the Army Reserve, California National Guard and California State Guard. ALL rejected me.

well, as some of you may know already (but for those who dont, let me say again), ive had diabetes type 1 since i was 9. im now 18 yrs old. as most have experienced and some are experiencing, when i was first diagnosed i was the only one in my family and the only one of my friends to have diabetes. 9 years later, the same still goes. when i was younger i was in a support group but didnt like it since i was the only one younger than 13 years old. i had noone to relate to, and since most adults… Continue
