- Hi Ashley - looking at your pics - and came to your wall to learn more about you. Hang in there! There's alot to learn about having diabetes, but in time, you'll be a pro. I guess you'd call me an old timer, been D since age 7, going on 42 years now with it. I'm still learning new things believe it or not. You will find that there is alot of great people here to help answer your questions. I only discovered it this year after going onto the insulin pump, and wish I'd known about places like this along time ago. Now I feel less alone, it's sorta like having family here! Take care.
